        The Bibles have a very

"The Bibles have a very nice, sleek (almost shiny) cover. Seems quite durable for frequent handling. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the pages are THIN! Like, tissue paper thin. So much so, you can clearly see the print on the opposite side of each page, making it quite difficult to read. I would rather they go back to a slightly heavier book in order to have paper thick enough to allow you to read what is only on your current page."

        — Cary P. (4/5)

        We like the ESV Bibles

"We like the ESV Bibles but discovered an error. The alphabetical order page with the books listed do not coordinate. The page numbers do not go with the book listed-i. e. the book of John is not on page 902. This error is in all 10 Bibles."

        — Joy F. (5/5)

        ESV Premium Pew Bible

"We love the large print ESV Bibles we ordered. We are glad we were able to get them from Concordia because we could not get these anywhere else that would not backorder them. We just noticed that the cost was much more than in other places."

        — Evan A. (5/5)

"Love these bibles and they look great in our new church."

        — Joyce L. (5/5)

        Paper quality is disappointing

"The binding is very good and the 9 point print size is a great improvement over our old, small-print Bibles.  However, the paper is disappointing. This pew and worship Bible is described as the "premium" version with "high-quality paper. "  Unfortunately, the paper is actually very thin.  Our old pew Bibles with 880 pages of 6. 7 point print are actually thicker than this "premium" version with 1022 pages of 9 point print."

        — Burckhard B. (4/5)

"We are very satisfied with our new NIV Bibles and the print is very easy to read."

        Love the font size.

        "Love the font size."

        — Jessica B. (5/5)

        I wish we would have

"I wish we would have accomplished more research. Font looks the same font of our previous pew bibles. It is compressed from an 1100 page bible to 800 pages. Definitely not "comfort" reading. Praying it doesn't cause church family not to use."

        — Bill V. (3/5)
