Clergy Robe Care Tips

After each wearing, hang your robe on our Murphy Contoured Robe Hanger to maintain yoke shape. Zip the robe, or fasten the hook and eye closure, to keep it properly aligned on the hanger. Allow time for any residual body heat or moisture to dissipate before storing in a closet.

Don't wait until there is heavy soiling around the neckline or inside the cuffs to clean. Schedule regular dry cleanings. Any garment with more than one color, velvet panels, ribbon trim, piping, or embroidery requires dry cleaning by a professional dry cleaner.

Peachskin Fabric

Soft and supple, Peachskin fabric flows with your movements and drapes beautifully. The rich, jewel tones of Peachskin display surface shadings similar to sandwashed silk, adding subtle visual texture and depth to your choral ensemble. This finely woven 100% polyester microfiber faille has a softly brushed appearance, and is moderately wrinkle resistant. Solid, single color garments may be machine washed using a mild detergent on the delicate cycle, and tumble dried on low. Tow color garments, or those with corded piping or other trims must be dry cleaned. All shades subject to dye lot variations.
