        It is cute but we

"It is cute but we found that for the amount of craft time that we had it was more challenging then the time we had for it. It also worked much better for the older kids but our younger kids could not do this craft at all."

        — Laurie R. (2/5)

        I liked this activity, but

"I liked this activity, but the little colored stickers were just too small to handle for my younger students. Also, in the future I hope they divide the stickers into separate packets for each student."

        — Catherine R. (3/5)

        Very difficult for ages 4,5,6

"Very difficult for ages 4,5,6 to do. Information did not say markers were needed."

        — BONNIE .. (5/5)

Difficult to use, no room for error

"I cannot recommend this project. It is designed so that 12 children need to share/pass around four sheets of gems. You could, I suppose, use a very sharp, very thin craft knife to cut the plastic sheets, but I didn't try that. Sharing issues aside, the kit includes only the exact correct number of each color of gem. There is no room for error. If a gem falls to the floor, fails to release properly from the sheet (happened to me several times) or if one of the kids deviates from the provided pattern, then someone will not have enough gems. I would only consider giving this project to upper elementary or older students, and only if I had few students than kits."
