Description
Meet Taffy, your guide to friendship at On the Boardwalk VBS 2027, a fast-talking, wing-flapping, completely irresistible seagull puppet and the breakout star of Cokesbury Kids On the Boardwalk VBS 2027. Alongside the Boardwalk Manager, Taffy leads Pier Pals through the sights, sounds, and big ideas of the boardwalk each day, helping kids discover, in the most fun way possible, that friendship starts with Jesus.
Together, Taffy and the Boardwalk Manager put the Pier Pals on the case: five Friendship Focus tickets, left behind by the previous Boardwalk Manager, each one cracking open a new truth about what it looks like to be a friend like Jesus. Kindness, faithfulness, humility, care—rooted in Scripture and brought to life one ticket, one day, one big boardwalk adventure at a time.
Turns out Taffy is a big hit with the preschool crowd, too. Age-appropriate scripts for Gathering Time are included in both the Assembly and Preschool Leader Guides, so every session lands for every age, from the tiniest Pier Pals to the ones who think they’re too cool for a seagull (they’re not).
