Every Christian recognizes areas of life that need to change, but knowing how to move forward can be difficult. Real Change helps participants consider how faith in God shapes everyday thoughts, emotions, choices, struggles, and relationships.
This six-session small-group resource gives participants an opportunity to focus on one particular area of life where growth is needed. The book is self-contained and includes leader's notes, making it easy for groups to use without a separate leader manual. Real Change encourages honest discussion of personal struggles while presenting a biblical framework for how Christ brings lasting transformation.
Based on the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF) model from David Powlison's Dynamics of Biblical Change, the study explores how people typically respond to pressure, what those responses reveal about the heart, how the cross provides comfort and help, and how God produces Christlike fruit in everyday circumstances. Participants are invited to choose a weekly "change project" and apply reflection questions, discussion prompts, and practical homework to their lives.
