Description
We'd probably find it hard to imagine living conditions in Afghanistan. After the Taliban takeover in 2021, children were in constant danger, so many families fled to the US. They are grateful for safety and a new start—and for education.
In Afghanistan, education opportunities are scarce, and girls are allowed to go to school only up to age 12. These children's parents highly value education and are thankful for schools in the US. But many of these refugee families live in poverty, so they can't purchase school supplies and other necessities for their children.
These refugee families also need the hope and love of Jesus. Most of these families know nothing about Jesus. One girl said she didn't even realize there were religions other than Islam before she came to America!
Enter a golden opportunity to reach Afghans for Christ! By helping Afghan children get school supplies they need, relationships are created, building bridges to families' hearts. When a relationship is formed, people are often willing to consider the gospel.
Every $150 could provide high–quality backpacks for four refugee children, other school supplies for refugee children, and opportunities to share the message of God's limitless love!
When you make Building Bridges: Sharing God's Love with Refugees your VBS missions project, Afghan children and parents will see God's love in action and discover the good news of Jesus!
NOTE: By contributing to this project, donors acknowledge that Regular Baptist International has full authority to apply contributions designated for this project to other purposes in the event the project is canceled or oversubscribed.

About Rocket Racers VBS 2025
Rocket Racers is filled with evangelistic power. The gospel is woven throughout the lessons, and each day contains a clear salvation presentation. RBP is known as The Evangelistic VBS™ because of the clarity of its approach. VBS leaders are thankful for RBP's evangelistic impact.
"The gospel is clear, and the material does not assume the kids have prior church knowledge." -Bev from Virginia
"We believe that introducing children to Jesus is the most important part of VBS, and RBP's programs always focus on the gospel!" Katie from Missouri
But Rocket Racers is also for students who have already trusted Christ. Just like people in Elijah's day, students face many rivals to God that threaten to draw them away from Him. At Rocket Racers, they'll be challenged to stay on track with God.
"RBP has a well-rounded VBS program, tapping God's truth into everyone one way or another. From lesson time to music, crafts, treats, games, puppets, skits...the lesson of the day reaches into (VBS children) and grabs them." Lisa from Wyoming
"Always a fun theme!! The teaching material has many ideas for the day that are easily adaptable to any unique teaching experience: new teacher, experienced teacher, big group, small group, all learning types." Pam from Oklahoma
RBP VBS
