Manny Mole has everything he needs, but not quite everything he wants, exactly how he wants it. Instead of enjoying what he has, Manny often complains and fails to see the good around him, even though his family points out all there is to be thankful for. He can’t think of a single thing to paint on his stone for the meadow’s Garden of Gratitude.
After a storm destroys his family’s home, Manny begins to appreciate the blessings he had overlooked. Through the care of his family and the provisions God provides, Manny learns to choose gratitude over complaining and discovers what to add to his stone.
Edited by counselor Michael R. Emlet and illustrated by Joe Hox, Manny & the Garden of Gratitude brings gospel-centered wisdom to young readers with engaging artwork and a parent discussion section that helps families talk about contentment, thankfulness, and trusting God in difficult circumstances.
