  • Description

Children and teens face a tremendous amount of pressure from peers and culture to find their identity in activities, feelings, or performance. Grounded in Grace helps parents understand how identity is formed today and equips them to guide children and teenagers toward an identity grounded in God's unchanging grace.

Jonathan D. Holmes examines five core areas of identity struggle common to teens: sports, academics, moralism, sexual orientation, and gender confusion. He provides a biblical foundation and practical tools parents can use to help their children find identity in who God says they are rather than in what they do or feel.

Written for parents, pastors, youth leaders, and counselors, Grounded in Grace offers gospel-centered counsel, reflection questions for self-examination, and conversation starters to promote faithful discipleship and resilient identity formation in the next generation.
