Frequently Asked Questions

How long do these 51% beeswax Advent candles burn?

The 12" x 3" pillar candles made with 51% beeswax provide approximately 60-80 hours of burn time per candle due to the beeswax blend, which burns slower and cleaner than standard paraffin candles.

Will these candles fit standard Advent wreath holders?

Yes, these candles are specifically sized at 12" high by 3" in diameter to fit standard Advent wreath holders used in both church and home settings. The dimensions are designed for traditional Advent wreath compatibility.

What are the benefits of 51% beeswax content in these candles?

The 51% beeswax content provides cleaner burning with minimal smoke and soot, longer burn times, and a more even flame. Beeswax also burns with a warmer, more natural light compared to standard paraffin candles.

Why are all four candles purple instead of the traditional three purple and one pink?

This set includes four purple candles for churches or families that follow liturgical traditions using all purple candles throughout Advent. Some denominations and traditions prefer consistent purple coloring for all four weeks of the Advent season.

What makes Cathedral Candle Company candles different from other brands?

Cathedral Candle Company crafts their candles using artisan standards specifically for church-quality applications. They use premium wax blends, precise sizing for liturgical use, and manufacturing processes designed to meet the demanding requirements of religious institutions.
