Frequently Asked Questions

  • What colors are included in the ArtisanWax Advent Pillar Candle Set?

The set includes four candles in traditional Advent colors: three purple candles and one rose candle. These colors represent the four weeks of Advent leading up to Christmas, with the rose candle traditionally lit on the third Sunday of Advent (Gaudete Sunday).

  • What are the dimensions of each candle in the set?

Each pillar candle measures 24 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches in diameter. These large dimensions make them ideal for church Advent wreaths and prominent displays that need to be visible from a distance.

  • What percentage of beeswax do these candles contain?

These Cathedral Candle ArtisanWax pillar candles are made with 51% beeswax. This high beeswax content provides a clean, consistent burn with minimal dripping and superior burning quality compared to standard paraffin candles.

  • How long will these Advent candles burn throughout the season?

With their 24-inch height and 51% beeswax construction, these candles are specifically designed to last throughout the entire four-week Advent season. The high beeswax content ensures a slower, more consistent burn rate that provides reliable lighting for weekly Advent services.

  • Are these candles suitable for church settings?

Yes, these candles are specifically designed for church use. They are made in the USA by Cathedral Candle Company, a trusted manufacturer of church candles, and their large 24" x 3-1/2" size makes them perfect for church Advent wreaths and ceremonial displays.
