About the Author

Timothy George (ThD Harvard Divinity School) is founding dean of Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and currently research professor of church history and doctrine. He is general editor of the'Reformation Commentary on Scripture'and'author of over twenty books and countless scholarly'articles. He is an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Convention, having served churches in Georgia, Massachusetts, Kentucky, and Alabama.
