Frequently Asked Questions
- What material is the Oria Chasuble White made from?
The chasuble is woven in Avignon Jacquard, a durable jacquard fabric with a subtle woven pattern designed for liturgical vestments.
- What are the dimensions and fit of this chasuble?
Dimensions: 59 inches wide by 51 inches high. It has a traditional full-cut design intended to be worn over an alb and to provide full front and back coverage during services.
- When is the white chasuble appropriate to wear during the liturgical year?
White is used for celebrations of joy and purity, including:
- Christmas and Easter seasons
- Weddings and baptisms
- Ordinations and feasts of the Lord (non-martyrs) and many saint days
- Does the chasuble include a matching stole or alb?
Matching stoles, albs, and cinctures are available but sold separately. The Oria Chasuble is designed to coordinate with those matching vestments.
- How should I care for the Avignon Jacquard fabric?
Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the jacquard weave and the white finish. For minor spots, blot gently with cool water and mild detergent; avoid bleach, high heat, and tumble drying. If pressing is needed, use a low setting with a pressing cloth.
