Toddler - Teacher's Guide - Reformation Press Fall 2020
Each Toddler/2 Teacher's Guide leads you and your students through a learning environment designed just for toddlers and two-year-olds.
Each lesson is built around toddler versions of favorite Bible stories. All the bases are covered, from teacher preparation to tips about following through with parents. Includes a teacher devotional in each lesson to inspire and challenge you. Background information about the Scripture passage used for each lesson is included in the "Understanding the Bible" sections. Age-level tips help you understand how your children relate developmentally to the lesson. Easy-to-use lessons help teachers set up learning activities that provide ways to present the Bible story while children move around, explore, and touch.
While children are discovering their world through play, teachers present the Interactive Bible Step to one child or a small group. The Bible Review Step is shared with each child--whenever he or she is in the room! A Craft Step is also included for each lesson for children to explore the process of how to do a craft while producing their own unique "masterpieces."
A sixteen-page insert in the Teacher's Guide provides articles and activities with Reformed and Presbyterian distinctives. Each quarter's insert features an emphasis on a particular liturgical calendar event. Reviews are also given for software suitable for Sunday classroom use.
