How it Works

Families step back into Bible times!

Families experience the night Jesus was born as they visit these engaging stations!

Stations Include:

Give kids and families the impression that they’re entering the ancient town of Bethlehem during the time of the census. Here, they’ll receive their Roman Denarii and Coin Pouch so they’re ready for a night of adventure!
The City Gate
This isn’t your typical “living Nativity,” because families will talk with Joseph and Mary, ask them what it was like to stay in a stable, and discover that God used regular people to fulfill his promise. Plus, they’ll decorate their own One Starry Night Keepsake Ornament. What a remarkable reminder of Jesus, the Light of the World!
The Stable
During the census, the inn is bound to be a hoppin’, happenin’ place, bustling and busy! Families stop here to decorate a Room-for-You Lantern as a reminder to leave a light on for Jesus in their homes this Christmas.
The Inn
The whole reason for the trip to Bethlehem is the mandatory census—so no one can skip a stop here! The Census Taker will talk with your kids and families and then guide them in signing the official census list.
The Census Taker's Office
What is that large, new star in the sky? The visitors from the East will share what they believe the star signifies while kids and families use Stellar Constellation Viewers and Slides to go stargazing.
Stargazer Hill
Families will meander to nearby fields and meet shepherds who share what it’s like to watch over sheep. Then it’s their turn! They’ll receive a Sheep Roundup Game Board to create lots of shepherding fun—at home, too!
The Fields
Kids and families spend some time with Bible-times shopkeepers who share delicious treats and give the inside scoop on life in ancient Bethlehem.
