Thousands of kids will take an Amazing Desert Journey with Jesus in 2012. Together they will sing, pray, and play as they learn how Jesus leads and goes with them on the journey of life.
Amazing Desert Journey teaches children about God's amazing plan to rescue them through His Son from sin, death. As they hear the accounts of God's forgiveness, mercy, and salvation from Scripture, children can relate these Bible truths to their own life of faith.
Ask volunteers why they do VBS, and the answer is the same … to help children learn about Jesus. And we agree! At the center of every lesson, song, craft, and game is God’s gracious gift of Jesus. As a BONUS, songs and activities in 2012 also teach the Lord’s Prayer.
Amazing Desert Journey helps volunteers plan, prepare, and produce a VBS with purpose—to teach children about their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
