The core 15-session learner
resource for age 2 through grade 4 is a set of nested leaflets, one
leaflet per learner per session. Each colorful leaflet features a
beautifully illustrated scene from the Bible story with a retelling of
the story for learners and teachers to share. Other features include
age-appropriate activities that engage learners in an element of the
Bible story and encourage them to apply story knowledge to their own
lives.
The last page of each leaflet emphasizes witnessing at
home with suggestions for ways families and children can bring the
Bible story to life. Features include suggestions for reviewing the
Bible story, talking about the Faith Trait emphasized that day,
participating in service activities, and other game, craft, and recipe
ideas.
Also included in each learner resource is a two-page sticker sheet. Stickers provide creative ways to enhance learning.
The
bonus materials for learners age 2 through grade 4 have two parts, both
of which are reproducible. There is one reproducible page for each of
the five bonus sessions in each age-level teacher guide. In addition,
the teacher class kit contains one reproducible sheet for each of the
five bonus sessions, useable across the ages.
