How It Works
Each Cross Explorations lesson is divided into three steps that reinforce the Bible story using different teaching techniques.
Step 1: Engage
Welcome kids and get them excited about learning God's Word through music, worship, prayer and a basic introduction to the Bible story.
Step 2: Explore
Dive into God’s Word with Bible story learning, review, and activities. During this time, students and adults break off into small groups for Bible study. Teacher and student leaflets are used to guide groups through the lesson.
Level 1 (Grades 1–3)
Level 2 (Grades 4–6)
Adult Bible Study
Step 3: Express
Take students beyond basic learning with a variety of rotation sites that reinforce the lesson. With crafts, games, music, drama, and more, you have the flexibility to customize each Sunday for what works best for your program. Express activities are great for large or small groups.
Get the whole family involved!
Encourage parents to use our Explore More Cards to keep the Bible lessons going throughout the whole week! With great discussion topics and ideas for activities, the whole family can learn about God's Word together. Each card includes a picture of the Bible story on one side and questions for family discussion on the reverse side.
